What this does and doesn’t do
It does
- Find emails, links, phone numbers, IBAN-shaped account numbers, card numbers that pass a checksum, amounts with a currency if you ask, and the entries on your list (2–200 characters each, as whole words).
- Give the same value the same placeholder, so the AI can still follow who is who.
- Keep the originals in this page’s memory only. Closing or clearing the page removes them.
It doesn’t
- Recognise names, addresses or ID numbers you haven’t listed.
- Stop details being worked out from context, such as a job title plus a town.
- Change what an AI provider keeps or how it uses what you send, or protect against instructions hidden in pasted content.
- Make your use of AI compliant with any law on its own. It’s one helpful step.
